Now i know it depends where exactly i am in Thailand when i am there, but can anyone suggest if it generally is better to get from thailand to Cambodia by plane or train? I am assuming train is cheaper, but i have no idea how long it will take!
There are no (passenger)trains running in Cambodia. If you want to train, take a train as close to the border as you can get and switch to bus on Cambodian side.
Without more information it's difficult for people to help you. Flights are not very expensive though if you search a little.
