Ancient temples, empty beaches, mighty rivers, remote forests ...and (outside Angkor) only a handful of tourists. But the word is out - Cambodia has emerged from decades of war and isolation and is well and truly back on the southeast Asian travel map.
Although many get no further than the ancient temple complex of Angkor Wat, Cambodia has much to offer. From the lazy beaches of Sihanoukville and Kep to the atmospheric Bokor Hill Station, there's a lot more to this charming country than meets the eye.
