Flights between Sihanoukville abd Siam Reap...are there some?

I've heard someone mention here (on another thread) of flights between Siam Reap and Sihanoukville . Are these flights happening now?

[color=rgb(54, 54, 54)]I've heard that it is proposed for the future,however its not supposed to happen until December or Janruary 2012.

IF.....the flights are happening now, I'd love to fly between Sihanoukville to Siam Reap aroung Jan 18th to avoid the long 10 hour night journey.

Any help appreciated.

Did a little more research and found some good news at the "Cambodia Angkor Air" website and they say that they will be commencing flights (3 times weekly) on December 14th between Siam Reap and Preah Sihanouk province which seems to be(google maps) just outside of Sihanoukville.

Hope it goes better than the last time they tried.
Seem to recall the pilot missed the airport at S'ville and hit Bokor Mountain.Quite a navigation error!

Ok, I write this from inside a travel agency and they just handed me this advertisement about flights from SR to Sihanoukville. Seems serious now.

Schedule is from dec14th till march 24th

special offer $48 one way (traveldate 14 dec till 31 dec)

Was going to do the night bus, which seems a lot riskier, according to most.
