Hi all
I had to cut short our Laos trip and head to Siem Reap.
We couldn't find a bank open on Sunday and airport exchanges were closed so have about 1.5m Kip to exchange for USD.
I think a fair exchange rate would be about 8,000 kip to the dollar.
So if you are in Siem Riep and need kip before heading into Laos send me a message and we can try to sort something out.

Cambodian riel (as well as Lao kip) are 100% useless and without value outside the borders of their countries of issue, so make sure you get rid of it all before returning to Thailand or going to Vietnam...
