Flooding situation in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap

    Hi,

    I plan on going to Phnom Penh by bus from Saigon on the 8th Nov for two nights before moving onto Siem Reap by bus also. These are the only two places we will be in Cambodia.

    Can anyone provide details on the flooding in these areas and whether I should go ahead with this trip. Also where is the best place to keep track of the flooding situation in Cambodia.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I just returned from Siem Reap last Saturday (29 October). Waters were receding 3 or 4 days before we left and I think there is no reason for you to change your plans to travel to Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.

    I flew into Phnom Penh on 2nd Nov. and from the air the water seems to have receeded.Phnom Penh is not having much rain now and the river is dropping everyday.
