Travelers, be aware of the dishonest and shameful methods of Royal Khmer Airlines, a Cambodian airline company.
I bought two round trip tickets Seoul-Siem Reap from RKA to visit the wonderful site of Angkor in February last year with my wife.
While my return flight to Seoul was cancelled without notice by Royal Khmer Airlines because of aircraft technical issue, they left me without any assistance in Siem Reap. Having already paid for the tickets to RKA, I had to spend another USD 1,000 for other tickets to have a chance to get back home. Directs flights by all companies were fully booked, I had to fly to Bangkok, then Taipei, and finally Seoul.
RKA rejected my request to compensate me for that amount. This is already totally unfair, but may be not illegal. But they had at least to refund the unused portion of the tickets I bought from them. They promised to do so, but after one year and despite tens of emails and phone calls, I haven't received anything ! Not a cent !
It is clear they have intention to keep the money.
I had bought the tickets through internet directly to the RKA and paid by credit card. They know it would be very difficult for me to launch legal action against them from a foreign country.
Travelers, keep away from Royal Khmer Airlines, if you don’t want to take the risk of being ripped off.

Hello, Alex864
I am sorry to hear your pain. But you should let your credit card company taken care of your refund, if you have evidence to support it. I, myself Cambodian, do not trust anything to do with shadowy run business like RKA. There is neither royal nor Khmer about this airline.
