Siem Reap - where to next...?

    I am finish up a tour of Laos and Cambodia and finish in Siem Reap at 8am 24th December..



    I then have 10 days (inclusive) to get back to Bangkok for my return flight home to UK.
    Concious this also includes Xmas and NYE!


    Any suggestions as to what i should do/where i should go?



    My tour will have included Ankor Wat and Phnom Penh and ideally i would like to be on a beach for a lot fo the duration but am concious I need to get back to Bangkok.



    I am happy to consider flights, bus, train travel! Budget is not too much of an issue.



    I am travelling solo (although may meet people on my tour).



    Any info/suggestions much appreciated..

    Check out Koh Chang and surrounding islands in NE Thailand. Overland from Siem Reap to Trat (Thailand) then ferry out to the islands. You would have to check out a couple of them.
