PP hotel in Jan- pre-book?

    Hi there! I will be in PP and Siem Reap starting Jan 17/12, but am not sure if I should be trying to book a hotel/hostel ahead of time. I heard that there may be some kind of festival/holiday that makes it hard to find accommodations? Anyone know one way or the other? Thanks!

    Chinese New Year is Jan.23rd, but I wouldn't worry too much about it unless you're really insecure :)
