Found this place on agoda web site while playing with my iPod in Siem Reap. Very nice place on 172 Street, near Wat Ounalum. Clean rooms, breakfast included. See web site silverriverhotel.com. The neighborhood is also interesting. Across the street is a noodle shop called Little Noodle Shop. Noodles made while you watch! Right next to Wat Ounalom is the best travel agent we've encountered in a long time: Ms Samatha at FastNet (combination internet cafe and travel agency, right across the wall from the Wat on Preah Ang Eng Street. Very helpful. Advised us on travel to Kampong Chhnang and back, and later helped with arrangements to Kep and Kampot. Overall this 'urban village' nestled west of Wat Ounalom and north of the National Museum is delightful. A wonderful compliment to the whole area is the coffee place under the big tree diagonally across the National Museum. It has no name but its under the 'big tree' that hovers over the entire intersection. Travelfish editors please take note!
