I will be in Angkor late september, 27th through october 4th. I plan on hiring a car ($60-70) along with a guide ($25.00) to go on a full day trip to Beng Melea (along with a few other stops.) I wanted to see if anyone was interested in sharing the costs. I figure taking a tuk-tuk that far may be pushing it a little, not to mention AC will probably be nice. Please let me know.

You're quite right. It's almost two hours each way in a tuktuk. It was absolutely worth the pain in my butt though.
Absolutely loved it! Have fun!

I would recommend visiting Beng Mealea temple with comfortable car as the drive would take up to 1.2 hour and Tuk Tuk up to 2 hours without seatbelt and seem unsafe for Cambodia traffic.
