Does anyone know of a reputable tour company that will do a one day tour of sites on route between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap? Alternatively a good car hire company that will allow us to arrange our own? Mekong Eyes do the sort of thing we're after but are asking $108 EACH for the 5 of us making it really expensive! They visit Spiderville and a couple of geological sites on route. Cheers, Suzie.

If anyone else is looking to do similar I have booked a private car and driver that comes with good references. http://www.freewebs.com/samstaxiphnompenh/sam.htm Sam is going to drive the 5 of us in a minibus via the places we wanted to go on route for $180. Much better deal

Hi Tinuvielle,
The expensive tour that I mentioned was doing stops at Skuon (Spiderville), the temples at Sambor Prei Kuk and theSpean Praptos bridge at Kompong Kdei on route.I've asked Sam if he could do the same and he seems fine with that

I think you can rent car with driver for cheaper price, just tell them where would you like to visit then they will bring you to the place but you have to plan your own trip tho. It should be about $60-$80 whole day.

Triple A Cambodia also offers this kind of trip. It's 159$ but the trip is over 3 days/2nights and everything is included. I haven't done it myself but always heard great feedback about it.
