What airlines or methods of transport do you recommend traveling out of Ko Phangan, Thailand into Siem Reap, to Phnom Penh, then to Hanoi?

If you're flying out of Ko Samui (closest airport to Ko Pha Ngan) then Bangkok Airways is your only option. They've got at least a dozen flights a day to Bangkok. From there you can fly Siem Reap Airways to Siem Reap. Siem Reap Airways agaion to Phnom Penh, though the bu is equally good and only takes three to four hours. Phnom Penh to Hanoi best with Vietnam Airlines.

    Hope that helps

thanks somtam! i was doing some research on vietnam airways and none go direct to Hanoi, all layover in HCM and cost about $250. Would it be any more difficult to layover in BKK or KL using Air Asia with two separate one-ways summing less?
