Phnom Penh architecture tour this Sunday the 18th
I have signed up or a tour of the a national Sports Stadium this coming Sunday but we need 5 people for it to go ahead. Is anyone else interested? If so please see their website www.ka-tours.org. So far only 2 people have signed up.

I would be especially interested in the 1960s houses tour to do it privately. Would anyone else like to do that with me? Sadly I can't manage the one on the 25th so the only option is to do it privately.

There is so much to see in PP if you are into architecture. Lots of French Colonial Style buildings. Some restored, some sadly decrepit.
I wonder why you don't actually just take a walk around the city especially between Wat Phnom and Psar Thmei?
Phnom Penh, unlike Bangkok is an easy city to amble around and because you have the river on one side and the streets are all neatly in numerical order it is very hard to get lost.

Thanks but I've walked my feet off in PP before. It is this particular architect I am interested in along with the opportunity to go inside some of the buildings and to have some more background information.

I seem to recall that somewhere on http://www.khmer440.com
they put up a lot of photos of PP in the sixties. Maybe it would be helpful.

Just for info the tour was amazing. Really informative and certainly a highlight for me. I'm going to do another tour with them later this month.
