Hi guy's
Five of us will be traveling to Seam Reap in early December and I was wondering I anyone can give me some idea of the availabilty of walk in accomodation at that time of year. We will be getting it late in the day as we will be travelling by boat from Phnom Penh so was wondering if we should be booking.
Thanks

I'm in Siem Reap at the moment and there is an absolutely insane number of new hotels and guesthouses here. I'd say in early December you should be fine -- perhaps the best places will be full, but there's plenty more places to choose from.
I'd only suggest booking if you're set on a particular place to stay.

I can't remember. It was in a little street - parallel to the main road. I arrived with bus from Phnom Phen at the local bus station and asked a tuk tuk driver to take me from there to "Hello Paradise Guesthouse" for 1 USD.
In Phnom Phen there is a guesthouse called "Okay Guesthouse". They somehow work/belong together with "Hello Paradise".

There will be plenty of accommodation - Siem Reap is one of the highest accommodation to visitor ratios on the planet! Its is quite incredible to see all the new construction and alongside the present construction.
