I have read through your listing for Siem Reap guesthouses, but cannot decide - we want to spend US$30-50 a night but would like a garden for the children. We think maybe on the other side of the river is better and quieter. is that so?
thanks again

Hi again Tuy,
There are three places which spring to mind straight away, all three are on the "other side" of the river as you call it.
Click on the link to get the detailed review and their contact details.
La Noria
Borann
Golden Banana
The first two have a pool, while the third doesn't.
If you have more questions, please let me know.

thanks somtam. How far from the old market area of siem reap are the places you list. Is it walking distance or will we need to get a taxi?

All three are a ten to twenty minute walk from the market area, depending on your pace.

Has anyone stayed at The Villa Siem Reap? It doesn't appear listed on this site but appears to have fairly positive feedback on others.
