Hi guys,

I'm here in Siem Reap at the moment and one taxi driver has offered a taxi ride to Battambang for US$180, it's too much and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what they paid or whether a Cambodian share taxi is a decent option as they are cheaper.

Thanks

Hi Ashe,

US$180 is outrageous! You'll pay around US$30-$40 for an entire share taxi from SR to Battambang -- ie $6-8 for one seat. Either head out to the share taxi stand near the bus station, or down near Rosy Guesthouse there's a small car garage that also runs share taxis across to BB.
