Betelnut Tours conducts daytrips to the Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Centre. The day is inclusive of a guided tour of the centre, lunch and some special behind the scenes access with the elephants and tigers. The centre houses over eighty species of indigenous wildlife including gibbons, sunbears, asiatic black bears, leopards and the critically endangered eld's deer & siamese crocodile. Thanks to the management by Wildlife Alliance and Free The Bears, Phnom Tamao is now considered to be one of SE Asia's premier wildlife reserves. For an informative tour which highlights the peril that Cambodia's wildlife faces and some unique close encounters with some special animals and their keepers, please get in touch. Refer to Booking Page on website for Tour Warning - this trip isn't suitable for everyone.

We've just added a story on this trip. You can read the full story on Phnom Tamao Wildlife Refuge (and the trips there by Betelnut), here. Have also moved this thread across to the main Cambodia section as we'll roll this into the new Phnom Penh update we've been trying to finish!
