Anyone want to share their experience with the different companies? I will be prefering a more deluxe a/c coach especially for on-board w.c. facilities. Thnks.

I think that Mekong Express would be your best bet. Bus is a/c, has a clean toilet, short break half way through the journey and comfortable seats. When I used them the cost was about $6 one way. Perhaps up to $10 now. Its well worth paying the extra couple of dollars for a faster and more comfortable trip. My advice is to book a couple of days in advance as they are popular - about 2 buses each way per diem. In Siem Reap their office is very central; from memory, up from the river, past the market, and a block or so up the street that continues beyond the market ( sorry cant be more exact but your guest house will give you details. In Phnom Penh they are about 100 metres past the boat quay end of Sissowath Quay on the opposite side to the river. Hope that this helps.

I'm not Tony but: any guesthouse or hotel or travel organiser (there's loads near the river) can book the tickets for you (for the next day for example), so it should be no problem.

FYI - tickets cost $12 each way now. Depending on the time of day you are leaving for the bus company may provide transportation from your guesthouse to the bus station.
