Siem Reap to Thai Islands Transport

    I am aware that traveling from Siem Reap to Bangkok is possible but I would like to avoid going so far north only to return down south. Are there ways to avoid back tracking??

    Hi brea,

    If you mean the east coast islands, then give this a read: SR to the islands, but if you mean down to the gulf islands, then yes, you'll need to go via Bangkok.
