    Hi!

    I will be going to the area in January-09, and will be traveling Sihanoukville-Bangkok , what´s the best way of doing this and how long will it take.
    I understand there are not really any direct buses into Thailand. Thanks!

    You buy a bus ticket a day or so before departing in Sihanoukville. Bus leaves around 8am and arrives in BKK--Khao San rd at 8-9pm. Mixture of minivans and buses with hour at border. Simple and somewhat cheap--but takes most of the day
