Will be visiting siem reap in Dec and want to know if there are any direct buses from siem reap to s'vill or any other cheap direct ways? More to the point, is it worth cutting down there for a few days?
Many thanks.

What was your answer? I was looking to cut out Phnom Pehn (due to time constraints) and do it like you are.

Apparently there is a bus from PP direct to Snooky. About 4 hrs I think. Enjoy your trip!

I'll check it out for sure. My only problem is according to my passport i'm 60 and according to my brain i'm around 20. I spent a couple of years in singapore and thailand in the late 60's and loved every minute of it but will i be disappointed now? The asian way of life has always grabbed me and although i want to do the touristy things, i really want to find the real cambodia and it's people as well.
