which midrange hotel in Siem Reap

    We're looking at staying at either Mystere Angkor or Golden Banana Boutique hotel for 3 nights (both are midrange) - anyone have any experiences with either or both and can help us decide?

    I'd go with the Golden Banana -- it has a better location and I'd say the rooms are better as well -- just make sure you're in the boutique hotel and hot the guesthouse nextdoor (which isn't as good but it often used for overflow if hotel is full/overbooked).

    thanks for getting back so quickly - yes I am making sure its the boutique hotel
    Do you know about villa loti? Some friends of ours stayed there some time ago and really liked it. I don't think it has a pool though?
