Hi.
Any advice on trying to make the overland trip from Thailand to Siem Reap during the rainy season? We'll be heading that way in late July. I know roads have improved quite a bit over the last few years, but don't know if it is enough to make a rainy season road trip feasible. We can always fly in and out with Bangkok Airways I guess, but the overland trip seems like much more fun.
Please let me know. Thanks, Mark

Hi Mark,
Welcome to Travelfish!
For very up-to-date info on this route, you should take a look at Tales Of Asia, as it has been a while since we've done the trip, and that site has very good info on the route. I believe it is taking around 4 hours at the moment.

excellent. thanks for the link. we'll likely take the road trip inbound to siem reap, and treat ourselves to the flight on the way back to bangkok. regards.
