    Hi All..................

    Has anybody done the Battambang to Phnom Penh trip on the Railway. I'm led to believe that if your gonna DO IT your best bet is the section from Battambang to Pursat, and then, if you've not been shaken to pieces, take a bus onto Phnom Penh from there.

    Yes that's right, the later the day gets some of the train passengers get pretty totalled, and some report problems (nothing too serious) with drunk passengers harrassing backpackers... plus it is sooooooo slow that a shortish hot (say Battambang to Pursat) is sufficient for most.

    Note train doesn't run everyday anymore -- check in Battambang and see what you can find out.
