Hi everyone
We are planning a trip to thailand, vietnam and cambodia in Dec. My question is: what is the best way to get to Bangkok from Phnom Pehn? No flying - I have a temporary flight booking but was wondering if there is another nicer way to get to bangkok...... please advice. thanks

iŽd say-the "best" way is from p.p. to sihanoukville by bus, from snookyville to koh kong by boat, from there to the border, to trat and finally from trat to b.k.k. by bus. you are 2 days on the road, 1 night i, sihanoukville!

You've said that you're not keen on flying..but air asia do very cheap flights between PP and Bangkok. If you book online in advance http://www.airasia.com/skylights/cgi-bin/skylights.cgi (sorry if that does not come up as a link) you can can get a one way ticket for only $32.50!!! I'd go for that and spend more time travelling around Cambodia before hand to see Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, Kep etc and then travel in comfort for a snip of a price! Note that you need $25 airport tax to leave Cambodia.

Fly ,always,fly.
cambodian roads don't deserve the title of "road".
the time that you save by flying can be spent relaxing in the pearl of the orient, cambodia.
