Cheap(er) Flights out of Cambodia

After spending a lot of time trying to figure out how to fly out of Cambodia to Singapore and being quoted $400 to $650 one way, I finally found www.jetstarasia.com I got a flight for $79 (including taxes) Siem Reap - Singapore, so much better!!

So don"t waste your precious traveling money on cheeky travel agents which quote ridiculous prices!

Don't forget to check Air Asia as well. I am going $250 from Bangkok to Clark airbase in Phillippines using both jetstar and air asia. Now that there are move value airlines the big guys like bangkok air are lowering thier prices as well and some travel agents like Ana internet in sihanoukville stock up on cheap flights to places and can get you booked even cheaper than the internet, also check out Cheapcharlieshotels.com for some cool search tools.

what about getting flights from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap? The Siem Reap Airways takes me to Bangkok Air, which claims it does not book flights on that segment!

Hi krisandleo,

Siem Reap Airwys does fly that route, I'd say your problem rests with the BangkokAirways website which isn't one of the better put together sites around -- I'd suggest you drop them an email at the webmaster address that pops up when you try to book it and see what they have to say.

I am planning to fly from Bangkok - Phnom Penh - Siem Reap back to Bangkok, any advise on the best airlines to fly with would be much appreciated

If you know your dates I'd book them in advance - you'll get a better deal on the airasia leg and you won't need to worry about flights being full.

No budget airlines do it - You're stuck with Vietnam Airlines - I'm not sure who else does it. You can go by bus for $6 is budget is an issue.
