I read in an LP that there may be a ferry starting soon from Phu Quoc to Sihanoukville . Does anyone know if there is such a ferry? Alternatively does anyone have any recommendations on getting to Sihanoukville from Vietnam? Thanks Josh

havent heard about a ferry but we did the reverse - sihanoukville to ho chi minh last week via bus - 12 hours. think it was like 20 bucks. Long trip - via phnom penh, but we found it ok.

No the direct boat isn't running as yet -- still being talked about as far as I know -- so I wouldn't hold your breath!
