is it possible to visit cambodia during july (cause of the wet season)?
i would like to go to prasat vihear and some other wats up in the northwest of cambodia but my travel guide (lonely planet ) warns against it due to the difficulties of transport and impassable roads.
so there is no way i can go there during july??

mmhhhh.... ok maybe i'll give it a try...
i also have to think about the best time to visit thailand and nepal... do thailands rainy seasons coincide with the ones in cambodia??
The roads will be pretty rough and ready, but it's still worth checking out. Preah Vihear in particular is amazing (it's much easier to visit it from the Thai side btw). I'd do it in July over April -- as April is PEAK hot season -- and they're not kidding when they call it hot season.

I went there in August last year, there were no rain at all. I think July and August should be ok. That is might be depends on where you are going, there is more rain in Kep and Kompong Som than Battambang and Banteay Meanchey annually.
