The title pretty much says it all. I did a quick search and I could find reference to an e-visa procedure but nothing that explained if i can simply fly into the country and get a visa in the airport. Any advise would be appreciated.

Yes! Please people do not get taken in by your travel agent, many whom have never left their own hemisphere. It is easy cheesy to get your Visa upon arrival in Laos & Cambodia.

Hello!
And would you know if by land (Vietnam to Cambodia crossing), having already a visa could save you alot of time? Or is the process at the border quite quick anyway?
Cheers!

Last I knew, u cannot get a VISA at the border into Cambodia, only at the airports. If in Vietnam you would have to get your Visa from the Cambodian Consulate/Embassy.
I can remind everyone that in Sihanoukville (Cambodia) you can truly get your Vietnam Visa in less than 15 minutes. FACT!

Hello SteinOfOrange!
Are you sure about not being able of getting cambodian visa at the border? Travelfish says you can on most crossings ( http://www.travelfish.org/cambodia-border-crossings.php )
But actually, we're thinking of crossing through Kaam Samnor / Ving Xuong and there's no information about getting visa on arrival. Anyway, would you know if, at places where travelfish says it's possible, getting visa on arrival will "eat" alot of time, thus having already the visa would save you alot of time?
Thanks alot for your replies!

Boy o Boy 'apologies... I was thinking about wether you could get a Vietnam visa at the border, which is a BIG no.
You CAN get a Cambodian visa at the border however.
