The Red Hibiscus on the riverfront in Phnom Pehn is a gorgeous place with great attention to detail. The rooms are fabulous (wooden 4 poster beds with silk hangings) and the service is attentive. Its not cheap but its great value for money. And the restaurant is fabulous. They have the best steaks ever (and I come from Sydney!). Argentian tenderloin fillet done just the way I like it(rare) and the crispiest chips this side of Paris (their chef is French). We tried lots of restaurants around Cambodia but this was a stand-out we came back to a number of times. And at $14 it is unsurpassed excellence at bargain basement prices.
