bus from ho chi mihn city to siem reap

    Hello, I am travelling by bus from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap in July and was wondering if anyone has done this trip recently, and how frequently the buses run, how long the trip takes, how much etc. If anyone has any tips about the trip it would be much appreciated.
    P.S. we need to get there in the one day.

    I don't think they have direct bus from HCMC to Siem Reap.
    You will take a 6 hour bus to Phnom Penh, then another 6 hour bus to Reap, I think.

    There should be more than 4 bus running during the day.

    You can check out Sinh Cafe in Ho Chi Minh. They have an open tour bus that goes to Siem Reap with a transfer at Phnom Penh. The buses depart at 6:45 and arrive at 19:00 and cost about $30USD. Here's the link for more information
