A new, modern, clean guesthouse leased & managed by local NGO ‘MaD for Good’, with 100% of profits going to their charitable projects. This makes the MaD House the first choice for ethical tourists in Siem Reap. All Volunteers receive special discount. However you don’t need to be an ethical tourist or a volunteer to see real value of staying at the MaD House.
Newly built with marble floors, solid timber doors & paneling, hard-wood staircases, interior sprung mattresses, tiled bathrooms and spacious balconies & roof terrace with sunset views, the MaD House is a superior quality guesthouse.
All rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable with air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom, fridge & 80 channel cable TV as standard. Free tea & coffee all day, fast WIFI with free access and a free buffet breakfast – all guests share the MaD House with some of our friends.
The MaD House is one of, if not the only guesthouse in Siem Reap to offer guests their own cooking facilities, which as those who travel Asia for months at a time will know is a rare luxury (the expensive novelty of eating out for every meal soon wares off!).
It offers an extensive range of extras such as bicycle & mobile phone rental, a low price laundry service, well priced drinks, 24 hour security, free luggage storage, free book exchange & free access to a shared guest computer, plus you get to share your guesthouse with the MaD Kat and the MaD Crocodiles (yes, there are 100 caged crocodiles in the back garden!).
