I thought that there was not anything that could stop me from enjoying wonderful Mekong landscapes, but... Think twice before you take this boat, when they tell you that it is faster than the bus it is not quite true, same 7 hours. 35 dollars is too expensive for sitting 7 hours in a very uncomfortable position and in a freezing cold, because the air conditionning system can only work at its maximum and as we were told impossible to switch off. Obviously, you have no access to your backpacks or suitcases during all this time. It must sound funny but even in Cambodia it might be cold.
