I am currently staying at Mea Culpa. We ended up there by accident, but are so pleased we did! It's a very pleasant guesthouse/hotel, with friendly ownership and staff. The rooms are quite stylish, with comfy beds and pillows. The DVD player (and lots of free DVDs to borrow) is quite nice given that there's not much to do in Kampot in the evening. Food at the restaurant is tasty and reasonably priced. The wood-fired pizzas are superb. A great flashpacker option if you want some creature comforts without breaking the bank. Canby publications lists current prices as $18-25 USD. We paid $20 USD for a double mid-week. Its at the south end of down, just off the water. Definitely worth the short walk.
