We'll pay for you to do a four day, fourteen dive liveaboard in the waters off the stunning Similan Islands. The trip is all-inclusive -- including accommodation in a four bunk bed cabin (you'll be sharing with three others, so maybe invite some friends when you go). It also includes complete scuba gear, your national park entry and all the food you can eat. The only thing you'll need to pay for is beer and soft drink. The trip normally costs 19,400B.
Obviously you'll need to have at least Advanced Open Water Diver certification to be able to take this trip. If you don't that can be organised separately, but the cost of that is not included in this prize. It costs 7,500B to do the Advanced Open Water Diver course during the liveaboard.
All you need to do is say why you want to win this trip in 30 words or less by midnight, and we'll pick the winner.
You can read more about the liveaboard here.
Small print: The prize is valid until May 1, 2010, is not redeemable for Singha, cash or anything else and is subject to availability. Basically, the winner should buy their own beer, plan to dive within a year and book early ;-)

Having enjoyed diving s.e. asia greatly, similans is the holy grail. The chance to better understand photography and start to get involved with reef conservation would top it off.

Such an experience seem so far away it's like a dream. To actually share the water with some of the most beautiful creatures on earth would be lifechanging.

And I should have been born a mermaid!
Unfortunately I wasn't and I haven't even got an open water certificate so I'll have to leave this one for some other lucky winner. "sigh"

What a prize... makes me salivate at just the thought...

I've long yearned to explore the underwater world, but land-based journeys have distracted.
What better way to begin than at the top of the dive-site list, with a quality operator.

Hope this brevity is enough.
Cheers

Visited Koh Tao, learned to dive, loved it. Have an office job now. This trip would help me decide whether to drop it all and become a dive instructor.

We just got married this past December, and because we had to return overseas to teach English, there was no time for a honeymoon!!! This would be a dream come true!

Monsoon season came before I finished my advanced course while in Thailand so I couldn't do the liveaboard. And while still beautiful, Canadian diving is mighty cold!

I'll swim in the sea,
Just you and me,
'tween the coral and sky,
and on beaches I'll lie.

OK thanks to everyone for the entries. It's midnight now and Travelfish HQ is shutting down for the evening -- ie., I'm going to bed!
We've passed all the entries over and we'll announce a winner tomorrow.
Thanks!
