This is simple. We'll give you a US$1,000 voucher to spend with one of our favourite adventure tour companies, All Points East. You can use the coupon against any one of their tours, with or without flights. Be sure to check their website as some of their tours cost under $1,000 so you could get the entire trip for free.
All you need to do is say why you want to win this voucher in 30 words or less by midnight, and we'll pick the winner.
You can real more about All Points East here.
Small print: The prize is valid until July 12, 2010, is not redeemable for Singha, cash or anything else and is subject to availability. Basically, the winner should buy their own beer, plan to holiday within a year and book early ;-)
If you spend less than the full $1,000 with All Points East, the balance is not refundable -- take a friend with you (we're available ;-) and offset two fares with the grand if you'd like.

'Groundhog day' has become a permanent fixture of late. After months of procrastination, we've decided to chuck it in and set off on a new adventure. This would definitely help!

Armchair traveling reading novels, guides and forum posts is no substitute for the real thing. I have an incredible longing to become a part of the pictures and stories.

I want to return to Cambodia to give something back to this amazing country. If I win, I'll do a "Charity Tour" and write a travelogue to share with everyone on TF.

Friends rib me about trip reports based on eavesdropping in travellers’ bars. I figure it’s time to actually go see places. Those All Points East destinations look a great start.

I'd use $1000 to explore more of SE Asia: it's a fascinating area.
I'd be better able to help other Travelfisher's get the best out of their holiday

There, did it...

I just got retrenched - my husband did too
You’d think I’d be mad, but what can I do?
Sell the house, pack a bag, jet off overseas
With All Points East, it should be a breeze.

I think the very fact that I am no longer capable of counting to 30 demonstrates that I need a holiday BADLY. :)

To be able to experience SE Asia through a 'specialist travel agency' like All Points East would certainly put a spin on the usual backpacking adventure I am accustomed to!

I recently turned 45, my marriage fizzled and my job ends soon. My upcoming travels are an opportunity to move on and throw myself into new challenges. $1000 would help!

Well it certainly would make the decision I'm about to make to quit the job and go traveling much less crazy! Many deserving entries above, but how many with the same birthday (give or take 4 days) as Travelfish?!

OK thanks to everyone for the entries. It's midnight now and Travelfish HQ is shutting down for the evening -- ie., I'm going to bed!
We've passed all the entries over to All Points East and we'll announcing a winner tomorrow.
Thanks!
