I sit at the confluence of two rivers.
I'm a convenient base for exploring the surrounds.
I am within a two hour drive of two international borders.
I am not a capital city.
Most people reach me by bus, but I can be approached by boat and airplane also.
Where am I?
First correct answer gets a tshirt.

you mean we can win more than one shirt? will that save money on postage? :-)
okay, i don't think it can be luang prabang, siem reap, or phnom penh, based on the clues. so i'm going to guess Pakse.

although for a second i thought it may be ubon, but i can't say that i'd ever heard of anyone arriving in ubon by boat, and while a good town, it isn't really as good a base for exploring as Pakse. so i'm still guessing Pakse.
it's still saturday night here by the way. thanks for the all the fun contests and enjoy the rest of your birthday. cheers.
