Hey there!
I'm leaving for my travels in March and planning to stay out there for 4 months. I was planning on taking £3000 with me. Im planning on doing it on a budget so not really fussed about where to stay. Sorry is there is another post like this.......but i was wondering
is £3000 enough for 4months? what approx would be my weekly budget???
3000 for 4months is quite a good budget (for cheap hostels, food and a few beers and the odd treat) but you also have to take into consideration travel whilst in the countries, boats, trains, buses, and day trips these things all add up, but it depends on what style traveling you want to do and how much you will spend on certain things compared to others it really varies. I also asked the same question you did and I found that there are quite a few good posts in the travelfish forums on the 'budget' subject that you can get some pretty sound advice from, sorry bit of a scatty answer but hope ive atleast pointed you in the right direction!
