Hi,

Im from Australia. Going to Thailand. My bank key card is cirrus... is that all ya need?

Yes, most of the ATM,s accept Cirrus or Maestro cards. Unless you are going into the wilds of Thailand and far away from any bank you should be fine with your card. I would suggest a few Travellers Cheques as well, preferably AMEX, just in case you lose your card or run into some other disaster.
Have a good journey
