Hi everyone!
I'm travelling in Laos and Cambodia for 2 months, does anyone know if I change Australian Travellers Cheques easily or do I have to buy US TC's? I'm taking a mix of different cash, my visa card and my debit card, but I wanted to take Aussie TC's.
Any help is much appreciated.

In major centres (eg., Vientiane, Pakse, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh) you'll be fine but I'd lean towards cashing a few in places like that so that you don't have to arrive in the smaller towns with your fingers crossed that you'll be able to cash them.

Thanks. I should be able to work my way around that, however do you know if it would be possible for me to cash US travellers cheques in Luang Prabang or Vang vieng? If I have to I'll get some of those just to cover me for 10 days or so.

In Luang Prabang yes, no problem and I'd wager a yes on Vang Vieng, but no guarantee!
