Hey,
I'm starting in Hanoi from Bangkok flight. Just wondering are USD best for Vietnam are they accepted everywhere? Not sure what to convert into (from euro).

Euro's and all other major currencies are fine in all the tourist areas. You will only need $US when/if you are really off the tourist trail. Lots of ATM's for cash advance in most places. If you are heading out of the way for a couple of days get enough dong before you go. 4 years ago I changed $AU and got cash advances to get around so should be even easier now. Pay for everything in dong after you have exchanged. Have a great trip I'll be back in Nov!!
