Well my flight takes off tomorrow morning for Bangkok, and the 6 month journey begins. Thanks to everyone who took the time to answer questions/include an opinion - this website was the best resource I could've asked for.
If anyone will be in BKK on Feb 24-26 let me know, would love to grab a drink.
I'll be sure to share my experiences on the forums, and ill throw my blog URL around once in awhile for anyone doing a similar trip.
