My husband and I are taking a 4 week honeymoon to Southeast Asia mid July-mid August. The travel books make everything sounds amazing and I just can't seem to choose where to go and what to do!
We're flying into Bangkok, then want to go north (chiang mai area) then to Laos and Vietnam and end up in the Thai beaches (were thinking about ko pagnan and ko phi phi).
We want experience the culture, trekking, wandering and lots of chilling.
What are good places to visit in Northern Thailand?
Where should we go in Loas? I've heard people talkinf about floating down a lazy river in an inner tube-where is that?
Vietnam: we're thinking Hanoi, what should we do?
If we are flying from place to place, where can I find the cheapest flights?
One last thing, where is the best place to get custom suits made?
Thanks!

You should figure you pretty much blow a day every time you travel from place to place. So the more places you want to go to, the more travel days are eating into your vacation.
Your desire to travel to three different countries is at variance with your desire to "experience culture". Experiencing culture that goes beyond a picture of an elephant takes time. Time to learn language, time to get to know people...
In four weeks you have barely enough time to learn anything more than skin deep about any of the countries you mentioned here. And since you want to spend at least some of that time on a beach, I would suggest you do some research on the things you want to see and do (like tubing in VV which you mentioned), make sure you really want to see and do them, and then plot out a timeline for when you want to go to these places and sanity check it here. Allow slack time so you can stay longer somewhere if it really appeals to you, and don't pre-book (refunds are hard to come by in these parts) for the same reason.
Good luck and have fun.
