SE Asia trip from USA (8 weeks)

    My girlfriend and I are planning a two month Southeast Asia backpacking trip from mid January to mid March. Some of the countries that we would like to visit are: Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and possibly either Indonesia or the Philippines. Do you think it is possible to visit these countries in that amount of time? What is a good route to take?

    @aziz .. From USA ... Hey, I am doing the same trip in 4 months. I have a 2 bedroom base in Bangkok. Let's talk an adventure if you two are up to it.

    30 November to April 7 ... same destinations.

    I would stick to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam or just two of those countries. Then you get to go to cool places and not just the old, regular places required by the backpacker gods...
