I am currently planning a trip around South East Asia and was wondering if anyone could suggest a few cheap airlines that they have used or know of to get from country to country in the area?? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Ones i've used and been happy with:
Air Asia : http://www.airasia.com/gb/en/home.html
Jet Star: http://www.jetstar.com/gx/en/index.aspx
NokAir : http://www.nokair.com/NokConnext/aspx/Welcome.aspx
Tiger Airways: http://www.tigerairways.com/
Bangkok Airways: http://www.bangkokair.com/en/index.php
I've been told Cebu are pretty decently priced and alright flights,
Cebu Pacific : http://www.cebupacificair.com/
All budget/low cost airlines, Bangkok Airways is on the top limits of a low cost airlines (although much cheaper than the main region airlines) they used to have offers on a certain route every month which were pretty good not sure if they still do them. I think Air Asia is most peoples choice for cheap regional flights.

Book flights on Air Asia before you leave. I just tried to book online from Thailand and they've now got a 9 minute time limit to complete your booking... if you've got a crappy internet connection that makes things very difficult.
To make things worse, mastercard and visa have just introduced more stupid security hoops to jump through. Visa simply refused to let me pay (presumably because I'm trying to make a payment from abroad) and Mastercard Secure needs a phone number to send a code to before proceeding with payment... and it wouldn't recognize my Thai phone number! (So I'm supposed to give my home phone number, get someone to call back .... and complete the whole booking procedure within 9 minutes???)
