I am planning on travelling from Sep 12th from Bangkok. I need to be in Singapore on October 24 - 26th. Other than that I am flexible.
Any suggestions on improving the itinerary?
Sep 10 -12th Bangkok
Sep 12th - Oct 24th Cambodia and Vietnam
Oct 24th - Nov 14th Southern Thailand
Nov 15th - Dec 21st Northern Thailand and Laos

Looks OK to me. It's hard to suggest an improvement because there isn't much detail there. On the other hand, it's refreshing to see that it isn't planned to the nth degree - lots of room for flexibility, etc.
I assume that you will fly from Singapore back into Southern Thailand, which means you will get the full 30-day visa. If you arrive overland, you will only get 14 days.
In terms of southern Thailand, just check out the Thai weather map on this site to check out the rainy seasons for each side (east and west islands). I can never remember so always have to refer to the map.

Wow - I hadn't even noticed! I hope at least a FEW of them were useful to someone, somewhere...

I have a multiple entry visa for Thailand that last one year so it doesn't matter where I fly back to, was thinking probably Bangkok ( although I hate that place!!)
I have been to Phi Phi and Phuket before so was hoping to go to the other isalnds on east side but at this time of year I'm not sure if any point.
