November Itinerary Help- Vietnam, Laos? Thailand

    Could really use some advice from the travelers on here. I've been all over the place with where to go--only thing for certain I'm flying in and out of Bangkok! Need loose itinerary.
    16 days starting Nov 18.

    Hanoi & Halong and a Thai beach are at top of list...looking for a cultural flavor, outdoors, some sun/diving- heard good things about Luang Prabang (wondering if worth the $$ flying there) or Sapa or Mai Chau. Also any great beach bungalow recommendations on a budget

    Really appreciate feedback!
    Taking flights- Flying standby Atlanta to Bangkok so hoping to arrange other flights once there and they don't skyrocket?


    1- Arrive in BKK (have to fly in here)
    2- Bangkok- Luang Prabang
    3- Luang P. (temples, bike, hike, elephants)
    4- Luang P
    5- Luang P
    6- Luang P- Hanoi
    7- Hanoi (cooking class, sights)
    8- Hanoi- Halong Bay (kayaking cruise)
    9- Hanoi-Halong Bay
    10- Hanoi
    11-Hanoi- Bangkok- Samui (boat to Koh Tao)
    12- Koh Tao (or other Thai beach?)
    13- Koh Tao (dive, relax)
    14- Koh Tao
    15- Koh Tao- BKK
    16- BKK (sights, shopping)
