I really love the idea of travelling along the whole of the Mekong from VN to Laos. Is it do-able? Have you done it?

Hi Gecko,

You can do My Tho to Tan Chau (for Chau Doc) and Chau Doc to Phnom Penh and Stung Treng to the border, but the Cambodian ferries are no longer running from Phnom Penh to Kratie or Stung Treng, so you'll need to organise somethign solo -- eg chartering a boat or hitching a lift on a freight boat (fairly easily done from Kompong Cham)
