Hello and thanks in advance! A friend and I are looking to arrive in Saigon around the 8th of Feb 2013 (give or take a day or 2), and fly out of Bangkok early March - around 3 weeks total. We'd like to head west from HCMC, backpacking and staying in hostels or super cheap bungalows. Mostly looking for mellow beaches and not a huge party scene, and would also like to perhaps see Angkor Wat, spend some time on Ko Chang Noi, and get to some incredible Thai beaches during that time. There's so much on-line - it's hard to know what's good or makes sense. Any help appreciated!! Peace ~ Kim

You're running right into Tet in Vietnam on Feb 10th - problems with transport and prices doubled
