hi guys,

based on suggestions, i've cut out stuff from our itinerary to laos and cambodia. now, i'm wondering what to do with the last two days. i don't really want to hang out in phnom penh unless it would be better than a side trip. so...

day 1 - fly from bangkok to luang prabang
day 2 - luang prabang
day 3 - luang prabang (side trip) - ideas?
day 4 - luang prabang (side trip)
day 5 - luang prabang
day 6 - fly from Luang Prabang to Siem Reap
day 7 - Siem Reap
day 8 - Siem Reap
day 9 - Siem Reap
day 10 - Siem Reap to Phnom Penh by boat
day 11 - Phnom Penh
day 12 - Phnom Penh
day 13 - ?
day 14 - ?
day 15 - fly from Phnom Penh to Bangkok

thoughts? what to do for those couple days?

thanks!

From Luang Prabang look at an overnight trip up to Muang Ngoi or Nong Khiaow -- or just hang out in LP -- it's a greta spot.

From Phnom Penh, head south to the beaches -- either Kep and Kampot or Sihanoukville. If beach isn't your thing, perhaps Kompong Cham or Kompong Chhnang -- they're both very local spots that see very little (almost no) tourism.

1. Muang Ngoi + Nong Khiaow is very nice. Just good for 2 days. You can sleep in basic but clean bamboo huts (2 years agoo 1 night = 1 dollar

2. Why not for 3 days (day 9 10 & 11) to Battambang, and leaving to Phnom Penh on day 12?
